Huli`au ProgramA Therapeutic Transitional Living Program for Youth |
Hale Huli`au is a therapeutic Group Home for boys who have completed residential treatment and are slowly transitioning back to the community. |
|
The Huli`au Program is a structured, staff-secure, transitional living program for boys who have graduated from Marimed’s Kailana Program (a Community Based Residential Program) but are not ready to transition back to their community or those where returning home is not an option. The eight-bed home, located on the Windward side of O`ahu, is less restrictive than residential treatment yet offers a safe and secure therapeutic environment and services. Youth may attend regular or alternative school settings and participate in vocational activities and community functions, clubs and organizations (such as AA and NA). |
